I'd love to know what makes you think that. Most of the creatures who become threatening to the human race are either malicious or survivalists or confused. The Vashta Nerada are primarily survivalists but evolved into a fairly malicious species.
I think it's an interesting theory! But since there are few (if any) Doctor Who villains who have counterparts ( a light side and a dark side - a "good" strain and a "bad" strain) why do you think this one might?
That is a great and very honest answer! I just thought it was interesting that you might have seen something that some of us long-time Doctor Who fans missed. Keep thinking things through. There's a lot of good stuff in the show. I even got to use some of it for a theology paper in college.
